- Click the blue “🤖 Ask AI” box and, in the settings below the map, type which stocks to watch and describe your strategy in plain words.
- Give it a name and click Save. Then press ▶ Run now to try it. Nothing trades on its own — ideas wait for your approval.

How to use the map: click a step above to add it, then drag it wherever you like. Click any step to set it up in the box below. To use the app you add two kinds of keys. They're locked away the moment you save them and can never be shown again — not even to an admin.
📈 How do I get an Alpaca practice key? (start here — it's free)
- Go to alpaca.markets and create a free account. No money needed for practice trading.
- In the dashboard, switch to Paper Trading (practice mode).
- Find API Keys and click Generate. You'll see a Key ID and a Secret Key — copy both. ⚠️ The secret is shown only once!
- Come back here, pick Alpaca and Practice money (paper), paste both, and click Test key.
🤖 How do I get an AI key from Anthropic (Claude)?
- Go to console.anthropic.com and sign in (or sign up).
- Under Billing, add a payment method. (The AI charges a small amount per use.)
- Open API Keys → Create Key, then copy it (it starts with
sk-ant-). - Come back here, pick Anthropic / Claude, paste the key, and click Test key.

- Go to platform.openai.com and sign in.
- Under Billing, add a payment method.
- Open API keys → Create new secret key, then copy it (it starts with

🤖 How do I get an AI key from Google (Gemini)?
- Go to aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with your Google account.
- Click Create API key. (Gemini has a free tier; heavy use needs billing.)
- Copy the key (it starts with
AIza…). - Come back here, pick Google / Gemini, paste the key, and click Test key.

🛡️ Safety limits
The most the app is ever allowed to risk — even if a helper misbehaves. You can make these stricter, but never looser than the app's built-in caps, and they can't be turned off. The In effect column is what actually applies (the stricter of your setting and the built-in cap).

Recommended. When ON, nothing is ever bought or sold until you approve it yourself.
Lets your scheduled helpers place trades on their own. Only works after you've unlocked automatic trading, and only when “Ask me before every trade” is OFF. Uses practice money unless real-money trading is on.
⚠️ Uses real money on your live Alpaca account. Needs automatic trading unlocked plus a real-money key. Your safety limits and the emergency stop still apply.
🛑 Emergency stop
Instantly blocks ALL trading — by you and by helpers, practice and real. Use this if anything looks wrong.
👥 People
Manage everyone's accounts. “Delete” just deactivates an account — its history is kept for the records. You can never see anyone's saved keys.
